St. Margaret Mary Women's Group

Mission Statement:


The mission of St. Margaret Mary's Women's Group is to model Christ Jesus in acceptance and support of one another as we deepen our faith and strengthen our Catholic community. Through our devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as demonstrated by our Patroness, St. Margaret Mary, we renew our spirituality and strive to inspire an active ministry of charity and outreach. By sharing our many gifts and talents we become living disciples and God's instruments to improve the lives of those we touch.

The list below highlights some past activities:


  • ​Retreats and prayer services for all women of the parish;
  • Support to parish activities such as Youth Group events, the parish picnic and St. Margaret Mary's Feast celebration;
  • Religious gifts purchased for First Communicants and Confirmands;
  • Support of local charities such as St. Vincent DePaul food bank, TEAM and Wesley Village;
  • Scholarship for an active female parishioner moving on to further her education;
  • Donations to the parish as requested by the Pastor;
  • Sponsorship of the Holly Fair traditionally on the first Saturday in December.
