Knights of Columbus Award Given
The Knights of Columbus Family of the Month program promotes and supports the development of strong and vibrant families who outwardly exhibit ties of love and faith, exemplifying Catholic family values, and make meaningful contributions to their parish and larger community.
This month the Knights of Columbus Council 1350 and the entire St. Margaret Mary parish community honor Pete and Marie D'Ostilio who have been parishioners for ten years.
Pete and Marie are parents of 2 adult sons and have 2 grandchildren.
Pete is a 4th degree knight in the Knights of Columbus. Likewise, Marie is a 20 year member of the Columbiettes (an auxiliary of the Knights).
Pete and Marie are very active in our parish. Pete is an usher each Sunday at the 10 o'clock Mass. He has also been part of the Men's League for 8 years.
Marie is active in Women's Group which she joined 10 years ago. She also worked on the Parish Synod committee under the guidance of Fr. Joe.
They both work at the annual Parish Picnic, chipping in wherever needed.
Pete and Marie will receive a Family of the Month certificate and the roaming holy chalice for the month of April.
